The business developer will be responsible for driving the growth of the company across Canada and the USA. This role involves approximately 50% travel throughout North America and requires strong relationship-building, sales, and business development skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and expand commercial operations in North America, focusing on both industrial and lab product segments.
Manage daily interactions with customers, including end users, OEMs, distributors, and consultants.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities.
Prepare and submit commercial proposals and quotations in line with internal processes.
Conduct client visits to strengthen business relationships and provide ongoing support.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with customers to close deals effectively.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues or disputes promptly.
Identify and engage potential new clients and OEM partners to expand the customer base.
Develop a deep understanding of the technical and operational requirements of the products offered.
Translate the companyβs global strategy into actionable commercial plans.
Provide input on market trends and contribute to business development initiatives.
Represent the company at industry trade shows, exhibitions, and business conventions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports using the CRM system.
