About the Role
As a Client Director, you’ll play a dual role, balancing business development and account growth. You’ll lead the charge in acquiring new strategic customers while nurturing existing relationships in our Tier 1 clients to maximise revenue. You’ll own your accounts, working closely with customers to align Macquarie Telecom’s solutions with their business goal.
What you'll do
Manage a portfolio of Tier 1 strategic customers
Identify, Target, and Win new strategic customers
Hunt for new prospects and business development leads to build a pipeline of new business
Sell solutions into new prospect accounts within the Cloud / Voice / Data including WAN optimisation / Mobile and convergence Lines of Business by working with the SMEs, Solution Architects, and Head of Sales on a qualified opportunity
Build multi-level relationships across strategic accounts, delivering tailored solutions and ensuring outstanding customer outcomes.
Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within accounts to drive revenue growth
Work with internal stakeholders, including Solution Architects and SMEs, to design and deliver comprehensive solutions for customers.
Achieve and exceed target revenue per month
Maintain up-to-date records in our CRM system, ensuring forecasting accuracy and seamless reporting.
Your ideal skills and experience
You have 10+ years of experience in sales or account management, specialising in telecommunications or cloud services.
You are a high-performer with a track record of exceptional sales results
You possess excellent communication skills and strong negotiation abilities, with the capability to develop relationships at all levels, including C-suite.
You’re familiar with sales methodologies such as Challenger, SPIN, or TAS, and have a solid understanding of technical solutions like IP Networks, Mobile, Voice, and Cloud.
You’re a proactive and results-driven professional who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
You understand telecommunications environments and its technical challenges
