Position Overview
The Human Resources Manager at KEDC plays a key role in shaping a supportive and inspiring workplace where people feel valued and empowered to succeed. This position leads the full scope of HR functions, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, performance management, and professional development. Acting as a trusted partner to leadership, the HR Manager provides expertise in workforce planning, organizational development, and employee engagement while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. With a focus on collaboration, cultural awareness, and strong relationship-building, this role supports staff across the organization by offering guidance, resources, and opportunities for growth. The HR Manager also champions health, safety, and wellness initiatives, contributing to a thriving organizational culture. What You Will Bring
This full-time 35-hours per week position, offers the opportunity to work fully remote, with occasional travel to KEDC, requiring the successful candidate to be located in the Courtenay/Comox region. The salary is between $80,000-$95,000.
