Our client, a fast-growing Canadian company in the sustainable building solutions sector, is looking for a driven Sales Representative to expand their presence across Canada. This role focuses on early-stage engagement with developers, architects, and contractors to position the company’s product offerings as a preferred solution in energy-efficient construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target decision-makers across sectors such as infrastructure, education, healthcare, and commercial real estate

  • Build relationships and generate new business opportunities aligned with long-term growth goals

  • Work closely with design teams in early stages of construction planning to guide product selection

  • Ensure inclusion in project specifications and maintain involvement through to installation

  • Provide customers with product knowledge and consultation during design and build phases

  • Deliver presentations, training sessions, and written materials highlighting environmental and operational value

  • Stay informed about trends in energy-conscious construction and competitive activity

  • Prepare customized sales collateral and coordinate with internal teams to deliver proposals and timelines

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline status in CRM

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to strengthen market visibility and cultivate leads

Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years in sales or business development, ideally in a product-driven B2B environment

  • Experience with long sales cycles and technical solutions preferred

  • Familiarity with construction, energy, or architectural products is an asset

  • Strong consultative sales approach with a focus on long-term client relationships

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Comfortable working with technical product details

  • Proficient in CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot

  • Self-motivated and results-driven

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, or related field

  • Additional credentials in sustainability or construction are a bonus
