Job Description 

Under supervision, leads, organizes and oversees recreational programs and activities for an assigned group; assists with activity planning, implementation and evaluation; does other related work as required.  

EDUCATION: 

High School diploma or equivalent

60 college credits

CPR Certified

AED Certified

First Aid Certified

ARC-Water Safety Instructor; American Red Cross; Lifeguard Instructor, CPO, Pool Operator Certification.

EXPERIENCE: Two (2) year of planning recreation programs experience preferred. Pool Operation and Aquatic Program experience. Swim Team Operations and Experienced Swim Instructor.

LICENSE: Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform essential duties of the position. Appointees may be required to possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and applicable endorsements for the class and type of vehicle commensurate with the class and type of vehicles they operate, rests with the Appointing Authority.
