Your contribution!
As a Senior Resource Analyst – Wind Energy, you will join the wind and solar resource team and will be responsible for the wind resource assessments of projects under development and potential acquisitions.
Your day-to-day!
- Design of the wind resource measurement campaigns;
- Ensure the collection and quality control of wind measurements;
- Conduct energy yield assessments (preliminary and bank-grade);
- Conduct uncertainty analyses;
- Manage energy resource consultants and review their work;
- Conduct the technical due diligence for the project acquisitions, related to turbine technology and energy production;
- Complete preliminary design of wind energy projects by taking into consideration the existing constraints and wind resource;
Your skills, our requirements!
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, or a combination of training and relevant experience;
- Training in meteorology, physics or engineering, or any other relevant field;
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Ability to work in an environment with frequent changes and shifting demands;
- Strong writing skills, and ability to summarize technical subjects;
- Organized, proactive, meticulous, and logical;
- Able to work autonomously and support other teams within the company;
- High curiosity and desire to learn;
- Proficient working with Windographer/OpenWind/WindPro/WAsP/MeteoDyn;
- Knowledge of mapping software such as Global Mapper or ArcGIS is an asset;
- Bilingualism (French and English, written and spoken) is required to ensure collaboration with different stakeholders outside of Québec on a regular basis.

- The position can be based in the company's Longueuil (Quebec) headquarters;
- Valid Canadian Driver’s license;
- This position is a P3 level.
