As the Team Lead for LF3, you will receive training in Diamond Community Manager (DCM) duties. Additionally, you will support the day-to-day Diamond Community Manager responsibilities on an interim basis.
LF3 is taking a stand against nonsensical programming and group training that is NOT results driven. LF3 is the first successful training system to be effectively implemented into a large club setting. LF3 was born in the small niche environments of 2-4000sqft facilities providing results based functional strength training. No fancy bells and whistles included, just real quality strength, hypertrophy and movement quality coaching.
LF3 has and continues to impact thousands of clients across Canada by providing a results driven program and customizing the clients schedule according to their goals. LF3 has different small group classes with entirely different stimulus to allow the customization of an individuals schedule. Not only does this compliment 1/1 training perfectly, it significantly improves client results due to the increase in frequency and program quality.
LF3 is looking for highly qualified personal trainers who want to coach clients that WANT to lead, train, and train hard at that. LF3 clients have their own custom 7-day training plan, the plan is often paired with 1/1 and clients check in every month with the coaches to ensure results are being attained.
The Team Lead should have an in-depth knowledge of programming and leadership. They should be able to speak knowledgeably about the client journey and properly identify/prescribe the most appropriate plan for the member’s needs. The Team Lead should comfortably know how to program a client’s training plan based on all available modalities Altea has to offer.
This job might be for you if you have the following talents and spirit:
- You’re Obsessed with Results – You know results is the name of the game with training. We need to show clients progress asap or they will be disappointed. You care about clients hitting their goals more than they do.
- You have a Leadership Mindset - You believe servant leadership is the way to build a team. Lead by showing, not by ordering. You believe that being a leader means putting your hand up first and always have your teams back. You want to create the best environment possible for your team.
- You’re Confident in your Service – LF3 delivers elite level programming. You aren’t intimidated by your client being exposed to that. You actually feel like high quality small group pairs perfect with 1/1 training since most people typically don’t have a frequency of more than 3x per week.
- You aren’t Afraid of Public Speaking – It’s small group, there could be a max of 15 participants in your class. You can’t be afraid to command the room with conviction and confidence. We don’t use mics, we believe in an organic energy exchange experience.
- You want to Grow – You’re looking for a career in the fitness industry, not to make a few bucks between other goals. You will be surrounded by other fitness professionals that are in it for the long haul.
- You love Programming – Each LF3 community has its own unique needs. It’s crucial that you are open to collaborating with your team to deliver the best experience possible. You like bringing new ideas to the table to improve the client experience.
- You’re Open – Fitness has so many different sectors and so many ways of accomplishing adaptations for clients. You don’t believe one way is THE best and ONLY way of accomplishing something. You are open to using multiple modalities where most appropriate, as a tool to get the client what they want.
