The Technical Sales Representative is a key member of the Stellar Team, who develops opportunities by producing high quality quotations and furthering customer relationships. Stellar’s sales process includes supplier and product knowledge to assist customers by providing accurate and timely solutions through until the orders are placed.
This position will be a primary driver of sales and will include, but not limited to, quote preparation, customer support, quotation follow up, order processing and measuring customer satisfaction. You will closely collaborate with various internal departments and representatives in this cross-functional position.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes and specific responsibilities;
Qualifications & Experience
• 1-5 years of previous experience in the electrical industry is required.
• understanding of motor controls – including VFDs and soft starts in theory and operation is required.
• ability to read schematics and perform take-offs is required.
• knowledge of instrumentation, automation and programming from a sales perspective is an asset.
• Energetic with the ability to work effectively with a team.
• Excellent command of English – verbal and written is required.
• Excellent customer relation skills and the ability to produce results.
A competitive salary and quarterly paid commissions will be offered depending on experience.
