Rutgers The State University of New Jersey is seeking a motivated Temporary Research Coordinator for the Department of Pediatrics at Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences. The primary purpose of the Temporary Research Coordinator will be to work mostly at the CRC at the Child Health Institute and to communicate daily with the Principal Investigator on these projects. The work will consist of submitting and following up on new IRB applications or amendments of existing projects, recruiting study participants, scheduling study visits, obtaining informed consents for study participation and maintaining the necessary study documentation. Among the key duties of the position are the following: Submitting and following up on new IRB applications or amendments of existing projects, recruiting study participants, scheduling study visits. Obtaining informed consents for study participation and maintaining the necessary study documentation. Understands and adheres to Rutgersβ compliance standards as they appear in RBHSβs Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy. Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state and Rutgersβ regulations, laws and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified. Ensures that the staff are trained and evaluated on their knowledge of and adherence to compliance policies and procedures specific to their jobs. Performs other related duties as assigned.
