We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Track Associates to join our team. The successful candidate will be
responsible for:
Responsibilities:
● Monitor and control the flow of go-karts on the track to prevent unsafe driving behaviour.
● Instruct participants on proper safety procedures and kart operation.
● Respond promptly to any accidents, collisions, or breakdowns on the track.
● Implement safety protocols in an emergency or when a kart needs assistance.
● Assist participants in distress or requiring technical support.
● Maintain effective communication with other track monitors, facility staff, and participants.
● Use hand signals or communication devices to convey instructions or warnings to go- drivers.
● Enforce track rules and regulations consistently.
● Identify and address any violations of safety guidelines or improper conduct.
● Conduct pre-session inspections of go-karts to ensure they are in proper working condition.
● Report any issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team for immediate attention.
● Assist customers with questions, concerns, or technical difficulties.
● Ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all participants.
● Assist in routine track maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting barriers, sign and track surfaces.
● Report any maintenance needs or hazards promptly.
● Provide basic orientation and safety briefings for new go-kart participants.
● Offer guidance to inexperienced drivers on track etiquette and driving techniques
● Cross training opportunities may be available
Requirements
Requirements:
· Ability to enforce safety rules and regulations effectively.
· Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response is an asset.
· Familiarity with go-karting or motorsports preferred.
· Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once while maintaining attention to detail.
· Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
· Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50lbs safely and effectively.
Qualifications:
· Customer service experience
· Computer skills experience
· Teamwork experience
· Initiative, reliability, professionalism, and ambition
· Track or motorsports experience is an asset but not required.
Working Conditions:
· Dynamic and fast-paced indoor go-kart facility environment.
· Flexible working hours, including day shifts, but may also include evenings, weekends, and holidays
· Collaboration with the management team, including customers, staff, and suppliers.
