Our client is an award-winning experiential & PR agency located in Toronto that works with some of the world's most iconic brands. This is a hybrid position requiring approximately 2 days in office per week (no option for remote - sorry!).
THE ROLE
We’re looking for two (2) Account Manager, Events to join our client's team. This role will be a key day-to-day client lead and project driver—responsible for overseeing planning, execution and delivery of best-in-class events and experiences. With a strong balance of client service, production oversight and project management, you’ll guide multi-disciplinary teams and vendors to deliver seamless, on-budget and on-time experiences.
Our ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, is highly organized and has hands-on experience managing budgets, timelines, and vendors. One AM role will focus on a luxury auto brand, and the other will focus on a portfolio of tech and lifestyle brands.
Responsibilities
Client & Account Management
Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for client accounts, ensuring strong relationships and trust.
Partner with senior leads to develop strategic event recommendations and activation plans.
Anticipate client needs and provide proactive solutions to challenges.
Project & Event Execution
Own event timelines, budgets, and workback schedules from planning to post-event wrap.
Act as a production liaison, coordinating with fabrication partners, A/V, venues, staffing and other vendors.
Ensure flawless execution of live and virtual experiences, balancing creativity with operational excellence.
Contribute to ideation and creative brainstorming for event concepts and experiential tactics.
Financial & Operational Accountability
Build and manage event budgets, tracking costs and ensuring financial accuracy.
Negotiate vendor estimates and contracts in collaboration with senior team members.
Deliver post-event reporting, including recaps, learnings, and ROI analysis.
Collaboration & Leadership
Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (creative, PR, digital, production) to integrate event activations into larger brand ecosystems.
Supervise and mentor coordinators or interns, helping build the next generation of XM talent.
Support new business pitches and agency marketing efforts where needed.
Requirements
~3 - 5 years of experience in experiential marketing, events, or integrated marketing (agency experience preferred).
Proven track record managing client relationships with professionalism and strategic thinking.
Experience building and tracking budgets and timelines, with exceptional attention to detail.
Comfortable overseeing production logistics and liaising with multiple vendors (fabrication, venues, A/V, staffing, etc.).
Familiarity with both B2B tech events (user conferences, pop-ups, executive forums) and consumer lifestyle activations (retail, product launches, sponsorship activations).
Strong communication and presentation skills; confident client-facing presence.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for culture, creativity, and delivering memorable brand experiences.
Valid driver’s licence is ideal.
