We are looking for technology enthusiasts to join our HP Brand Experience Team to create excitement and connections with consumers around HP’s latest print products. We want brand ambassadors to proudly represent a leader in consumer electronics at a Staples store near you.

Availability and Scheduling:
This position starts on the week of July 21, 2025 – November 01, 2025, with the possibility of contract extension.
Weekly Scheduling:
**Schedules may change depending on business needs and seasonality.
Friday and Saturday availability is required.
The current schedule is:
- Fridays: 5 hours (12pm – 5pm) -- ideally
- Can choose 5 hours anytime between 11am-7pm, as per availability)
- Saturdays: 5 hours (12pm – 5pm) -- stable
Responsibilities
- Drive sales, advocacy and brand awareness of HP Products (specifically, HP’s Printer assortment)
- Confidently deliver HP product and sales skills training presentations in a variety of environments from 1:1 to medium sized group to educate customers and sales associates, and drive HP product recommendations and sales
- Actively engage customers with compelling demonstrations of HP features, communicating the customer benefits delivered
- Generate in-store buzz through passion and engagement for the HP Brand
- Create engaging and repeatable product demonstrations to showcase the unique capabilities and benefits of HP printers
- Ensure that HP in-store displays are clean, functional, and demo-ready
- Gather competitive intelligence and report on specific tactics including price moves, new products and merchandising materials
- Complete call reports, paperwork, and on-going personal training in a timely manner, meeting all deadlines
- Maintain working knowledge of all products, as well as the location and the best methods to point retail sales associates for questions beyond your knowledge
- As requested, attend and execute at marketing events, customer rallies, product launch activities to educate and train on clients' products key features and service offerings
Qualifications
- 2+ years retail sales or experiential marketing experience; tech industry is a plus
- Strong interest and enthusiasm in technology (HP Print is primary focus)
- Ability to lift and carry PC and Printer boxes to assist customers and set small displays as needed
- Outgoing and friendly working demeanor with store associates, customers and co-workers
- Ability to communicate effectively in 1:1 and small group settings in a busy retail environment
- Capable self-starter that is also a team player
- Smartphone ownership is a must.
- Full availability/commitment to work the scheduled dates and hours
- Consistent and reliable access to a vehicle to transport demo experience kit to the event location (public transit is sufficient)
- Ability to lift, carry and setup a portable banner and potential customer giveaway items to-and-from your vehicle (or public transit) and assigned store location(s)
