Interior Designer

As our Interior Designer, you’ll play an important role in preparing and formatting tender proposal documents for large bids within our Office and Education departments. You’ll help create product pages, pull together information, and support tender-related tasks. Beyond proposals, you’ll also support our talented designer, helping with renderings, updating our product library, organizing samples, and ensuring our client presentations shine.

What You’ll Do

• Support CDI Education and Office designers with space planning and project documents
• Assist with preparing tender documents for large bids
• Build product pages and drawing packages for the sales team
• Create individual product renderings and help maintain the rendering library
• Learn and stay current with product knowledge from multiple manufacturers
• Help maintain and organize the sample library, tracking, replenishing, and ordering as needed
• Keep drawings and documents organized in SharePoint and Khameleon systems
• Jump in to help with other tasks as needed to support the team

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma required; Post-secondary diploma an asset
• 3+ years of office experience (design/administrative background a plus)
• Strong MS Office Suite skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset
• Team player with great interpersonal skills
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp (or other design software) is an asset
• Ability to read furniture layouts and drawings is an asset
