We’re looking for an Intermediate Drafter to join our Estimating & Drafting team. If you’re detail-oriented, technically strong, and eager to bring plans to life through accurate and code-compliant drawings, we’d love to meet you.


What You’ll Do

As an Intermediate Drafter, you’ll focus on creating high-quality working drawings and permit packages that keep our projects moving smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing complete and accurate working drawings for multi-family homes.
  • Creating and revising permit packages, ensuring compliance with local bylaws, architectural controls, and the Alberta Building Code.
  • Coordinating with engineers, consultants, and suppliers to gather details required for permit submissions.
  • Reviewing site plans and lot fits to confirm setbacks, grading, and structural placement.
  • Maintaining and updating standard plans and details libraries as changes are required.
  • Supporting the Estimating & Drafting Manager with revisions, redlines, and technical inquiries from municipalities or site supervisors.
  • Assisting in the preparation of drawings for sales or marketing support as needed.


What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, accurate, and eager to collaborate in a fast-paced homebuilding environment.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma in Architectural Technology (or equivalent).
  • 2–3 years residential drafting experience (production home building experience an asset).
  • Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp (Lumion is an asset).
  • Solid knowledge of wood-frame residential construction practices.
  • Familiarity with the Alberta Building Code and municipal bylaws.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
