To provide a high level of nursing care to all personnel working on the jobsite while participating in the day-to-day administrative and contractual requirements of the delivery of remote medical services and health and wellness.
· Maintain standards of practice as directed by the Nurse Practitioner/Medical Director
· Comply with International SOS and Canadian Industrial Paramedics Operating Procedures
· Ensure that patients are managed in a professional and customer friendly manner
· Maintain clinical skills and participate in annual skills assessment testing in basic life support and other identified clinical skills
· Be familiar with the occupational health needs of the client
· Undertake specific roles that may be delegated by the Nurse Practitioner in charge
· Greet patients when they enter the clinic and ensure they are logged into the system
· Have a good working knowledge of Medical Records storage and retrieval
· Participate in all internal training activities on sites
· Be prepared for all types of emergency situations by active participation in all internal training
· Actively maintain skills through ongoing education
· Assist with the internal training program on site by preparing/presenting training sessions as requested
· Understand equipment maintenance program and participate as appropriate when requested
· Ensure equipment is in good condition and alert site leadership if there is a suspected problem
· Ensure all stock is intact and within date
· Maintain inventories of all stock as per the Procedure
· Ensure infection control practices are followed at all times in line with guidelines
· Observe that all colleagues are utilizing Standard Precautions
· Maintain patient records as care is provided in an objective, complete, and timely manner
· Participate in scheduled meetings and other activities as requested
· Participate in committees or working groups as requested
· Any other reasonable duties that may be requested from time to time by management
Must-haves (minimum requirements):
• Work experience as a Registered Nurse
• ACLS
• Exceptional collaboration with other groups and the ability to work under pressure
• Current registration with CARNA
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Preference for:
• Experience in an industrial setting
• A high level of knowledge and the ability to interpret relevant medical and operational guidelines, protocols, policies and procedures
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Collaborate with others in order to achieve the best results and deliver the most value
• Hold others accountable, and expect others to do the same
Where you’ll be working, your work schedule, and other important information:
• You will work out of our camp-based client sites. Accommodations & meals provided
• The working schedule varies from 2 weeks on to 2 weeks off to 3 weeks on 3 weeks off
• On-call and extended hours may be required after hours when operational and business requirements indicate
