THE ROLE

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Material Handler to support warehouse operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for moving and handling large products, processing customer orders, operating forklifts, and assisting with inventory and shipping. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys contributing to an organized, efficient, and collaborative warehouse team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate counterbalance forklifts (sit-down) with clamp/slip sheet attachments to move large products
• Use RF scanners and computers to process, label, and track customer orders
• Pick and stage orders in racking systems, ensuring accuracy with serial numbers
• Build and dismantle wooden crates for product handling and shipping
• Assist shipping clerks with preparing outbound orders and verifying documentation
• Load and unload delivery trucks, including customer vehicles, ensuring orders match shipping paperwork
• Conduct inventory counts, repacking, and quality checks on products
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or material handling role
• Licensed to operate a counterbalance forklift
• Experience with order picking and staging products
• Proficient with RF scanners and computer systems (ERP, Microsoft Office, or similar)
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow procedures
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable standing, walking, and handling materials for extended periods
• Willingness to work in warehouse environments with some outdoor exposure
