In this role, you’ll play a key part in helping small and medium-sized businesses succeed—while shaping the future of AI for local economies.

About the Job

In this role, you’ll act as a trusted advisor across the business, supporting leaders and employees with people strategies that drive recruitment success, talent development, and employee engagement. You’ll focus on delivering responsive, AI-enhanced solutions across the employee lifecycle, from attracting top talent to fostering continuous growth and retention. Your Impact

As a People Partner, you’ll work closely with leaders across the organization and the People Operations team to:

• Manage full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing to offer, ensuring alignment with Vendasta’s culture and business goals.
• Support performance management practices, coach managers on employee relations, and guide leadership in fostering high-performing teams.
• Deliver engagement strategies by analyzing survey data, conducting exit and stay interviews, and collaborating on inclusive workplace initiatives.
• Optimize people operations by leveraging AI tools, HR systems, and data insights to create efficiencies and improve decision-making.

What You Bring to the Table

You are a collaborative problem-solver with 3–5 years of progressive experience in HR or recruitment. You bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources (CPHR designation or working toward it is an asset)
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruitment and managing candidate experience
• Experience coaching managers on performance management, feedback, and employee relations
• Ability to analyze and present people data to inform engagement and retention strategies
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build trust across all levels of an organization
• Proficiency with HR systems (e.g., BambooHR, Lattice) and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace)
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to streamline workflows and enhance people processes (asset)
