The Work Environment

Manikheir is a global leader in infection prevention and medical device manufacturing. The London facility, specializing in automated nitrile glove production, is seeking a Production Manager to lead its operations. This is a pivotal role requiring strong leadership, operational excellence, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, highly automated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage production teams across multiple shifts.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

  • Mentor supervisors and line leaders to ensure operational excellence.

  • Oversee daily operations of dipping lines, mixing room, packaging systems, and material handling.

  • Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery deadlines are met.

  • Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to address deviations.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve production, mechanical, and quality issues.

  • Participate in or lead the commissioning of new production lines or facilities.

  • Develop SOPs, training programs, and workflows for startup environments.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (ISO, GMP, FDA, CE).

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in nitrile glove or polymer-based manufacturing, with at least 5+ years in leadership roles.

  • Strong expertise in automation: dipping lines, robotics, PLC systems, and SCADA.

  • Proven troubleshooting and process optimization skills.

  • Experience launching or scaling up factories or production lines.

  • Knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA, CE, and other relevant standards.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

  • Data-driven approach and proficiency with production analytics tools.

Assets

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.

  • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent.

  • Experience with ERP systems and digital manufacturing platforms.
