Job Title: Surety Account Manager
Location:Β Edmonton, AB (In-office)
Salary: $85,000+

Pathfind is partnering with a globally recognized insurance brokerage to recruit a Surety Account Manager. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced surety professional to make an impact by ensuring bond accuracy and efficiency for key accounts. The successful candidate will play a central role in client presentations, bond approvals, and ongoing account management, contributing to the organization’s continued success in the surety and bonding space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bond Management - Ensure the accurate and timely completion of bid bonds, final bonds, and reference letters.
  • Information Gathering - Collect required information to generate various bonds and liaise with surety companies for bond approvals.
  • Client Presentations - Conduct presentations to clients, explaining how bonding solutions can enhance their organizational success.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration - Partner with other departments to follow up on leads and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Monitoring & Fee Management - Oversee annual and quarterly surety company requirements, including managing bid bond service fees.
  • Commercial Bonds - Manage and oversee the issuance of commercial bonds and support client inquiries.

Who You Are

Education & Experience

  • Level 2 Insurance License required.
  • 5+ years of experience in surety and bonding within a professional insurance environment.

Skills & Attributes

  • Financial Acumen - Strong understanding of financial statements to support bond approvals.
  • Relationship Builder - Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners.
  • Multitasking & Deadline Management - Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Technology Proficiency - Experience with Microsoft Office and EPIC (an asset).
  • Effective Communication - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
