Travel Requirements:
Up to 50%-75% local travel to client sites within the Alberta area.
Occasional travel as needed for out of province clients and annual business events.

General Summary
The Technology alignment manager is responsible for managing and developing standards and best practices that FRAMEWERX uses to evaluate client environments. The role performs standards alignment reviews and works to proactively align customers with standards that they are misaligned with. This role provides both administrative and technical management of a client’s environment and works closely with the vCIO to deliver information.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
5+ years of experience in network or system administration.
3+ years of experience working in an I.T. managed services environment preferred.
Strong interest in the latest technology and trends.
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Microsoft Windows, iOS, and network device operating systems.
Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Manage high-pressure situations professionally, calmly and with urgency.
Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot technical computer and network problems with own knowledge, through documentation; know when to escalate to next level support

Primary Responsibilities
The following are the key areas of responsibility for this position. Understand Technology Alignment objectives, as well as the role and function of internal team members.
Perform Onsite Standards and Alignment Reviews.
Maintain, update, and phase out assigned Customers Standards templates as technology or a customer environment changes.
Develop and maintain technical knowledge of assigned customers’ environments.
Conduct thorough checking, updating and accuracy of customers information and documentation.
Be responsible for upholding best practices and reporting recommendations to the vCIO.
Identify customer technical risk and collaborate with internal teams appropriately.
Become a valued member of the Standards and Alignment Committee when established.
Develop both Business and Technical acumen with key contacts at Customer sites.
Advise and train clients on how to use the Support Desk.
Proactively maintain and improve customers’ infrastructure.
Proactively plan, oversee, coordinate, track and run assigned projects tasks.
Provide regular project reviews and reporting to the Services Manager and Infrastructure Manager as required.
Oversee assigned projects in terms of resourcing, quality, and output to maximize both the time and cost outcomes for the Company.
Maintain high positive customer and user satisfaction and relationships.
Keep abreast of the development of relevant IT and telecommunication systems, hardware and software applications within the industry.
Implement, participate, and promote Quality Assurance (QA) objectives, processes and procedures of the Company.
Maintaining project files and keeping documentation in order.
Assist in the training, mentoring and development of staff.
Perform other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager.
Adopt continuous learning and improvement processes in all aspects of the position.
